I have lived in Texas for 23 of the past 25 years, and in Collin County, Texas, for all of the past 16 years. I am aware of how the vote breaks in the state and in my county for national v. state/local offices.

Speaking of Collin County, here's what's been happeing to me: my college has been trying to fire me over a tweet since October.

So, as a knowledgeable Texas voter whose public employer is working hard to fire me over a tweet, I am here to tell you that "cancel culture" isn't real.
